Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tailor specialized in Abayas and Jalabiyas to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, sewing, and altering high-quality garments with precision. You will work with luxurious fabrics, creating custom pieces that reflect traditional and modern styles while ensuring excellent finishing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cutting & Pattern Making: Create, modify, or draft patterns for abayas, jalabiyas, and similar garments based on client specifications.
• Stitching & Assembly: Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble garments, with a focus on high-end construction.
• Fabric Handling: Work with various luxury fabrics, including silk, lace, tulle, and fabrics with embellishments (stones, sequins).
• Alterations & Fittings: Take precise body measurements and perform fittings to ensure a perfect, custom fit.
• Finishing: Perform detailed hand stitching, including hemming and attaching buttons, hooks, or zippers.
• Quality Control: Ensure all finished garments meet the highest quality standards, including clean finishing and overlocking.
• Customer Service: Discuss design, alterations, or repair requirements with customers.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience as a tailor, specifically in Abaya, Jalabiya, and Women's Couture, with 5–7 years of experience preferred.
• Skills: Exceptional knowledge of pattern cutting, fabric handling, and tailoring techniques.
• Tools: Proficient in operating industrial sewing machines.
• Attention to Detail: High precision, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Communication: Good communication skills to interact with customers and understand their needs.
• Credentials: Previous experience in the UAE
