Tailor - Bridal Couture

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridal Couture Tailor to join our atelier in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in luxury bridal wear, with exceptional attention to detail and mastery of couture tailoring techniques. This role is critical in delivering flawless, made-to-measure bridal gowns that meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and elegance.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute precise bridal couture tailoring, including fittings, alterations, and final adjustments for bespoke and made-to-measure gowns.
• Work with delicate fabrics such as silk, tulle, lace, organza, chiffon, satin, and mikado.
• Perform hand-finishing techniques, including boning, corsetry, draping, hemming, beadwork support, and lace appliqué placement.
• Conduct multiple fitting sessions with brides to ensure perfect fit, comfort, and silhouette.
• Collaborate closely with designers, pattern makers, and atelier teams to interpret designs accurately.
• Ensure all garments meet couture quality standards, timelines, and client expectations.
• Handle gowns with care during production, fittings, and storage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional atelier environment.
• Basic pattern (patron) knowledge required: Ability to draw and execute simple pattern adjustments on prova sizes (e.g., off-shoulder, halter neck, and similar cuts). Full pattern-making expertise is not required; however, the candidate must be capable of modifying and implementing basic patron work during fittings when the prova sample does not include the required cut.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a tailor in bridal couture or high-end evening wear.
• Strong knowledge of couture construction techniques and luxury finishing.
• Excellent fitting and alteration skills for complex bridal silhouettes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines without compromising quality.
• High level of precision, patience, and attention to detail.
• Professional communication skills and client-facing experience (preferred).
