Job Title: Tailor & Cutting Master

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Tailor & Cutting Master to oversee garment cutting, tailoring, and finishing processes. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of garment construction, precise cutting skills, and the ability to ensure high-quality fitting and finishing for custom-made and production garments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take accurate body measurements from customers
• Prepare and adjust patterns according to measurements and designs
• Cut fabrics precisely to minimize waste and ensure correct fitting
• Stitch, alter, and finish garments to a high-quality standard
• Supervise and guide tailors and sewing staff (if applicable)
• Ensure garments meet quality, fit, and design specifications
• Handle fittings and make necessary alterations
• Work with a variety of fabrics and garment styles (formal, casual, traditional, uniforms)
• Maintain cutting tools, sewing machines, and work area
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Tailor and Cutting Master
• Strong expertise in pattern making and fabric cutting
• Excellent hand and machine sewing skills
• In-depth knowledge of fabrics, measurements, and garment fitting
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to train and supervise junior tailors
• Good communication and customer-handling skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in tailoring, fashion design, or garment technology
• Experience in boutique, fashion house, or garment production unit
• Knowledge of modern and traditional garment styles

Work Environment:

• Tailoring shop, boutique, fashion studio, or garment factory
• May involve standing for extended periods and hands-on work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR1,300.00 - QAR1,750.00 per month
