Key Responsibilities

• Customer Consultation: Discussing client needs for new garments, alterations, and repairs.
• Measurement: Taking accurate body measurements for custom-fit clothing.
• Pattern Creation: Designing new patterns or modifying existing ones to meet customer specifications.
• Fabric Handling: Marking, cutting, and preparing fabric pieces for assembly.
• Garment Construction: Sewing pieces of fabric together to create new garments using sewing machines and hand-stitching.
• Alterations & Repairs: Modifying existing garments to adjust fit (shorter, longer, tighter, looser) or repairing damaged areas.
• Fitting: Fitting garments on clients to ensure a proper fit and making necessary adjustments.
• Finishing: Adding embellishments like zippers, buttons, and hooks, and performing final touches like removing chalk marks and ironing.
• Quality Control: Checking the quality of work at every stage of the process.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in sewing, pattern cutting, and garment construction, including both machine and hand-stitching techniques.
• Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to understand and meet customer needs.
• Attention to Detail: A strong ability to notice and correct subtle details for a perfect finish.
• Manual Dexterity: Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for precise work.
• Problem-Solving: The ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions for design or fit challenges.
• Organization: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and managing customer orders efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
