Tailor – Women’s Blazers & Dresses (Draping Specialist)

Key Responsibilities

• Construct women’s blazers, structured dresses, skirts, and trousers independently
• Execute complex designs including corset lines, structured panels, and internal finishing
• Work confidently with premium fabrics (crepe, silk, satin lining, lace, linen, faux leather)
• Perform precise draping on mannequin and live fittings
• Execute alterations and made-to-measure adjustments with accuracy
• Ensure luxury finishing standards (clean lining attachment, hand stitching, sharp seams, structured lapels)
• Collaborate with pattern master and designer during sampling & fittings

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years experience in women’s formalwear tailoring
• Strong experience in blazer construction (lapels, collars, structured shoulders)
• Advanced draping skills
• Experience working with delicate fabrics like lace and silk
• Ability to follow tech packs and designer sketches precisely
• Clean finishing and attention to luxury details
• Experience in made-to-measure or bespoke tailoring is a strong advantage
