Takeoff & Estimation Specialists (Interior Buildout / MEP / Civil)

Arrant Construction is seeking skilled Takeoff & Estimation Specialists to join our growing pre-construction team. We are hiring for multiple positions across Interior Buildout, MEP, and Civil scopes. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, experienced with construction drawings, and able to produce accurate quantity takeoffs and estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed digital takeoffs from construction drawings
• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals
• Review architectural, structural, and MEP plans for accuracy
• Identify project scope, materials, and quantities
• Maintain organized documentation for estimating purposes
• Collaborate with project managers and senior estimators
• Ensure estimates are completed accurately and on schedule

Qualifications

• Experience in construction takeoffs and estimating in at least one of the listed disciplines
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Familiarity with tools such as Planswift, Bluebeam, or On-Screen Takeoff
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
• Prior experience in commercial construction preferred

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of CSI divisions and construction terminology
• Understanding of construction sequencing, materials, and labor factors
• Experience with value engineering and cost optimization
• Ability to compare and analyze subcontractor quotes
• Proficiency with Excel or estimating spreadsheet templates
• Strong communication skills for clarifying scope and preparing RFIs
• Experience working in a hybrid or remote estimating environment
