Talent Acquisition Associate

Overview:
The Role
The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will report into the Senior Manager, National Corporate Talent Acquisition and will be responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition team in Corporate Recruiting and day to day LAC execution. This individual will provide thought leadership and process management, as well as work with stakeholders across Suffolk to drive a successful outcome. Project types will vary across different areas within Talent Acquisition but will share the common objective of strategic recruitment, research and analysis and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate and work effectively together with corporate and operations teams. Responsibilities:
The responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
  • Act as utility resource supporting across Talent Acquisition team in sourcing and full life cycle recruiting
  • Source, identify, prescreen and qualify candidates prior to hiring team interviews
  • Coordinating logistics for recruitment activity
  • Present an accurate description of the position as well as company history to prospective candidates
  • Update candidate records via company Applicant Tracking System (iCims) to maintain current accurate information
  • Educate hiring managers on the recruiting process and the roles involved in the process
  • Build & maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future opportunities
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System, employee referrals, social media and networking to identify potential candidates
  • Coordinate the hiring process for all assigned requisitions
  • Work closely with Hiring Managers to develop position profile and to understand overall needs and requirements. (Description, salary, timing, expectations, etc.)
  • Develop and manage strong consultative relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  • Perform competitive research
  • As part of Suffolk's People & Culture team, provide a “best in class” onboarding experience to all new hires
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4-7 Years of full life cycle recruiting experience is strongly preferred; basic HR support/service experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make decisions promptly and with confidence
  • Willingness and ability to provide best in class customer service
  • High sense of urgency
  • Experience in dealing professionally with outside Search firms
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented
  • Must be a Team Player
  • Collaborative and positive

Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
