Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Compliance Assistant plays a key role in supporting the recruitment and onboarding functions within the Woods System of Care. This position is responsible for completing employment verifications and reference checks, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and auditing HR files for new hires to ensure compliance and accuracy. The compliance assistant processes intern requests, verifies all required documentation—including background clearances—and assists with coordinating job and career fair activities.
Responsibilities:
- Completes employment verifications and reference checks for Woods System of Care Recruiters.

Processes intern requests and reviews / audits required documents for interns including clearances.

Reviews Applicant Tracking System to ensure assigned requisitions and candidates are updated / screened and documented.

Verifies that required hiring steps are properly completed.

Prints, reviews and audits human resource files for new hires.

Assists the recruiting department in preparing for job/career fairs.

Upholds the confidentiality of all records.

Reviews / audits referral bonuses for current employees in the applicant tracking system.

Assists within the Human Resources Department as necessary.

Other duties as assigned or as become necessary.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Computer literacy is required.
- One year of office experience is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented and previous filing and/or human resources/recruiting experience helpful.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
