Talent Acquisition Coordinator

This role is a hybrid position - 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home so applicants must live in New York, NY, NJ and be able to commute to the office.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Coordinate interview scheduling, manage follow‑up communications, and support hiring committee preparation.
  • Assist with candidate outreach initiatives.
  • Support talent acquisition programs, including campus recruiting and summer associate hiring.
  • Organize summer associate work assignments, training sessions, and social events.
  • Assist with scheduling and logistics for new hire orientation.
  • Track and monitor local recruiting budgets.

Talent Development

  • Coordinate local associate relations events and in‑house attorney training programs.
  • Collaborate with global Talent Development colleagues to execute firmwide initiatives, including coaching programs and training academies.
  • Monitor Associate Relations and Professional Development budgets.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in special events, which may occasionally require evening and/or weekend availability.
  • Travel as needed to support programs and initiatives.
  • Contribute to additional related projects as assigned.

Required Skills & Proficiencies

  • Advanced proficiency of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong experience coordinating training programs and events.
  • Foundational understanding of campus recruiting or legal recruiting practices.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a professional services or legal environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources, law school career services, attorney recruiting, and/or attorney development (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree required.
