The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for assisting with all aspects of recruitment, staffing and retention. They will manage event logistics, scheduling, and communication to ensure seamless coordination of staffing and retention efforts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Posts job ads on careers page and submits to ad agencies for placement on various job boards as well as applicable colleges/trade schools.

Tracks recruiting spend and submits weekly/biweekly invoices.

Completes data entry and maintains regular recruitment and retention reporting.

Assists with phone screens and reference checks.

Assists with scheduling location tours for new hires.

Prepares and keeps an inventory of restaurant specific recruiting materials

Fulfills requests from locations for recruitment marketing materials and escalates new requests.

Assists with new restaurant openings. Prepares applicant flow information for new restaurant openings and provides support for overall applicant flow and recruiting/marketing needs.

Builds and maintains working relationships with university, college, and community affair programs to aid in recruiting.

Responds to applicant inquiries and follow-up communication via email and/or applicant tracking system (ATS)

Participates in job fairs, recruiting sessions or classroom presentations as needed.

Assists with coordinating support and logistics for recruiting events and attending recruiters.

Assists with location employee survey data entry and review.

Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

Minimum of 1 year of HR administrative experience

Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe, and Outlook; capable of creating professional-grade documents, reports, presentations, and visuals with minimal oversight.

Previous restaurant, hospitality or retail experience is preferred.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Knowledge of interview techniques, applicant screening methods, job posting and social networking sites

A high level of organization skills, can set priorities and meet deadlines

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team

Physical requirements are the ability to perform a manual data input function for up to 50% of an 8-hour day on regular basis.
