Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will play a critical support role in Street Level Strategy’s human resources and talent acquisition operations. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will conduct early cycle candidate screenings and serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment cycle, coordinate training schedules, own the onboarding process, and create employee records. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and efficiency.
What You Will Achieve
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate employee records and file documentation.
- Own the onboarding process by new hire orientations, department training sessions, and conduct follow up status sessions.
- Support HR processes, including auditing new hire paperwork, compliance tracking, and reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the HR and Talent Acquisition team to ensure smooth operations.
Recruiting & Candidate Support
- Coordinate candidate communication, including sending forms, confirmations, and reminders.
- Schedule interviews and facilitate screening sessions.
- Perform early cycle candidate screening as assigned and needed.
- Monitor job postings and applications to maintain an organized talent pipeline.
- Source candidates through job boards, professional networks, and outreach.
- Review resumes and applications to assess qualifications.
Team Support
- Assist in coordinating internal HR meetings and action items.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure onboarding and training processes run efficiently.
- Provide general support as needed to maintain smooth office and team operations.
- Champion team events, policy compliance, and culture ambassador
Who You Are
- A professional with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in human resources, including working in a high volume of recruiting, sourcing, resume review, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive and confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong understanding of HR and recruiting processes, data management, and ensuring data integrity.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to engage candidates and internal teams effectively.
- Proficient in Google Suite, Slack, Trello, and able to quickly learn new HRIS, ATS, and project management tools.
- Proactive, reliable, and collaborative, with a strong interest in supporting team growth and talent development.
Working at Street Level Strategy
- Employment Type: Seasonal
- Schedule: Begins part-time during the training and ramp-up period (32 hours), with a transition to full-time hours upon completion of training.
- Wage range is between $31- 33 per hour depending on experience
- Full- Time Benefits: Health coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision) starting the first of the month after 60 days of employment, paid time off, sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and technology support.

- Work Environment: Hybrid role; expected on-site at the Pasadena office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote flexibility on other days.

Pay: Up to $33.00 per hour
