About the Role
The Talent Acquisition & Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in driving the firm’s recruitment efforts while providing cross-functional HR support. This position will lead full-cycle recruiting for open roles and serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process. This role reports directly to the HR Director.
In addition to talent acquisition responsibilities, this individual will support core HR functions including onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration support, and general HR operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in talent acquisition and enough HR experience to step in seamlessly when operational needs arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for firm roles (legal and administrative).
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements.
- Draft and post job descriptions.
- Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, and other channels.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews.
- Manage candidate communications and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Conduct reference checks.
- Assist with offer preparation and compensation benchmarking.
- Track recruiting metrics and maintain accurate records in the ATS.
Human Resources Support
- Lead onboarding and coordination with IT for new hires as well as the new hire orientation process.
- Prepare new hire paperwork and ensure compliance documentation is complete.
- Step in to support employee relations matters administratively when needed.
- Partner with the HR Director to administer policies, procedures, and compliance efforts.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports as needed.
- Support performance review processes and other talent management programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Serve as a reliable and approachable point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain employee personnel files and documentation in accordance with company policies and compliance standards.
- Manage employee records ensuring accurate and up-to-date information regarding start dates, salaries, and profile modifications.
- Prepare and distribute new hire paperwork, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
- Assist with administrating and coordinating employee benefits enrollment, ensuring timely participation during open enrollment periods.
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Human Resources as needed.
- Provide general HR administrative support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, field of study is flexible based on HR experience.
- 3+ years of full lifecycle talent acquisition experience required.
- 2-3 years of general HR experience preferred.
- Experience recruiting within a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously.
- Proficiency in ATS and HRIS systems and comfort with reporting tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of juggling multiple tasks.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative environment and taking initiative when appropriate, while remaining deferential to department leadership.

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
