Role Overview
The Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition & Payroll will manage end-to-end recruitment activities (50%), support talent management initiatives (30%), and assist in payroll operations (20%). The role demands strong experience in real estate recruitment, a solid understanding of project-based manpower planning, and the ability to support talent development across site and corporate functions.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (50%)
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple functions and levels
- Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and finalize job specifications
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, networking, and campus hiring
- Screen, evaluate, and shortlist candidates as per role requirements
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, assessments, and stakeholder follow-ups
- Maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical and recurring roles
- Handle offer negotiations, offer releases, and pre-onboarding formalities
- Track and report recruitment metrics such as TAT, source effectiveness, and offer-to-join ratio
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Talent Management (30%)
- Support execution of employee engagement and recognition initiatives
- Assist in performance management processes including goal setting, tracking, reviews, and data consolidation
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, induction programs, and cultural integration
- Support learning & development activities, including training coordination and feedback management
- Partner with the HR team on retention initiatives and employee feedback mechanisms
Payroll Management (20%)
- Prepare and validate payroll inputs
- Consolidate employee attendance through ERP systems
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for payroll processing
- Maintain payroll MIS reports using Excel
- Ensure adherence to statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, etc.)
- Address employee payroll-related queries
Educational, Experience & Professional Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition
- Mandatory experience in Real Estate industry hiring
- Strong understanding of real estate roles, skill requirements, and hiring patterns
- Working knowledge of payroll processes and compliance
- Proficiency in Excel, payroll software, and MIS reporting
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to handle multiple positions simultaneously with strong follow-up and time management
