Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. Reporting directly to the Lead Human Resources, you will play a key role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent across tech, sales, and operations roles to support our company’s growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of recruitment best practices, experience in campus recruitment, and the ability to set up and manage an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
This role requires a proactive individual who can manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from identifying talent to onboarding new hires, while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing and Recruitment:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies for tech, sales, and operations roles.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to offer negotiation and onboarding.
Campus Recruitment:
- Plan and execute campus recruitment drives to attract fresh talent from universities and colleges.
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, placement cells, and student organizations.
- Organize and participate in career fairs, workshops, and other campus events.
Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management:
- Set up and configure the ATS to streamline recruitment processes and improve efficiency.
- Train hiring managers and HR team members on how to use the ATS effectively.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS.
Candidate Experience and Onboarding:
- Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Communicate regularly with candidates to provide updates and feedback.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
· Design and execute a smooth onboarding process to welcome new hires and help them integrate into the company culture.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure new hires have the necessary tools, resources, and training to succeed from day one.
· Gather feedback from new hires to continuously improve the onboarding experience.
Employer Branding:
- Promote the company’s employer brand through compelling job descriptions, social media campaigns, and networking efforts.
- Represent the company at career fairs, university events, and other talent acquisition initiatives.
Data and Reporting:
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate satisfaction) to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
- Prepare regular reports for the Lead HR and senior leadership on recruitment activities and outcomes.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with the Lead HR to align recruitment strategies with overall HR goals and objectives.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed, such as onboarding programs, employee engagement activities, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a similar role.
- Experience with campus recruitment and setting up and managing an ATS is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hiring for tech, sales, and operations roles is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and sourcing techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor).
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
