TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the full recruitment process from candidate identification and evaluation to extension of employment offer. This position is responsible for hiring a variety of roles at our properties in different geographic locations. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with managers to anticipate and meet evolving needs of the organization and to deliver the best talent.

This position is a hybrid position, NOT a fully remote position. Required to be in the Indianapolis office 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage full life cycle recruiting responsibilities to include review resumes, conduct applicant interviews/screenings, schedule final interviews for hiring managers, provide candidate summary to hiring manager, and extend offer of employment.
  • Consult with hiring manager to understand business needs, develop specific recruiting plans and help define candidate qualifications.
  • Update management team and hiring managers on progress of open positions on a weekly basis.
  • Develop strong business relationships with internal and external customers, as well as candidates and recruiting colleagues.
  • Develop and implement search strategies to create applicant pipeline. Utilize a variety of sources to attract talent to include colleges, association meetings, job fairs, internet, and employee referrals.
  • Manage and analyze candidate activity in the online recruiting software.
  • Administer pre-employment assessments, including assisting hiring managers in interpreting results.
  • Administer pre-employment background screenings as appropriate.
  • Maintain awareness of current trends in talent management, including delivery, support, and key technologies through classes, reading, or other learning outlets such as participation in industry and leadership meetings/conferences.
  • Assist in other Human Resources functional areas as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • This position requires the equivalent combination of training and experience equal to a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field.
  • The position also requires at least two to four years of experience in full life cycle recruiting in a high volume environment.
  • Experience developing and utilizing behavioral based interviewing techniques.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
