Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Talent Acquisition Specialist is to ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline. This position will also be involved in marketing initiatives for the company to promote the Company’s reputation as a “best place to work.”
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and implement an overall recruiting strategy

Collaborate with department managers on regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs

Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives

Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards, social media networks, and utilize employee referrals

Source, network, and recruit candidates by using databases, job boards social media, etc.

Screen candidate resumes and job applications to qualify for open positions as well as maintain the ATS for active and passive prospects

Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates

Assess applicants’ relative knowledge, skills, and soft skills, experience, and aptitudes

Maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS) through Paycom database
-
Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
-
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred but not required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics

Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles

Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative

Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines

Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment

Proficient with, or the ability to quickly learn applicant tracking software
-
Proficient with MS Office Suite

Understand and adhere to company policies and applicable laws
