Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Purpose:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process and supporting both core and non-core HR functions related to hiring and workforce planning. The role focuses on attracting, sourcing, screening, and onboarding top talent while ensuring alignment with organizational needs, culture, and long-term talent strategy. The incumbent will work closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to build a strong talent pipeline and enhance the overall candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment cycles including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, and offer management.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and job specifications.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using job portals, social media, networking, and referrals.

Talent Pipeline Development

  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical and recurring roles.
  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future hiring needs.

Candidate Management

  • Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Conduct initial screening interviews and shortlist candidates based on job fit and organizational requirements.

Onboarding Support

  • Coordinate pre-employment documentation and background checks.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires.

HR Collaboration (Core & Non-Core Support)

  • Support HR in workforce planning and talent forecasting activities.
  • Assist in employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate with HR team for compliance, documentation, and policy alignment related to hiring.

HR Systems & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate recruitment data in HRIS or tracking systems.
  • Prepare recruitment dashboards and reports including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and hiring efficiency metrics.
  • Use data insights to improve recruitment strategies and processes.

Employer Branding

  • Promote the organization as an employer of choice through digital platforms and engagement activities.
  • Support career fairs, campus recruitment drives, and networking events.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with company policies and applicable labor laws.
  • Maintain complete and accurate hiring documentation and records.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing techniques, interview processes, and selection methodologies.
  • Familiarity with HR systems (HRIS) and recruitment platforms.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
