We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Culture team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to support our organization’s growth. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, build strong relationships with hiring managers, and ensure candidates have an excellent experience from first contact to onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and create effective recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates through multiple channels (job boards, social media, professional networks, employee referrals, events).
- Conduct initial candidate assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Manage Applicant Tracking System (ATS) data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, providing guidance to hiring managers on interviewing best practices.
- Communicate proactively with candidates to ensure a positive, professional, and timely recruitment experience.
- Develop talent pipelines for critical or high-volume roles.
- Track and report on hiring metrics, including time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness, and candidate pipeline data.
- Support employer branding initiatives, including career page content, recruitment marketing, and networking events.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and organizational policies.
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field—or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and recruitment best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with ATS platforms and common HR tools.
Preferred
- Experience recruiting in (industry, e.g., tech, healthcare, finance).
- Knowledge of employer branding or recruitment marketing.
- Familiarity with behavioral interviewing techniques.
- Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CIR).
