The Talent Strategies Team at BJC HealthCare provides a full range of talent acquisition and recruitment support activities for BJC HealthCare across 15 hospitals and community health locations. By acting as a strategic resource for BJC hiring leaders and building strong relationships with internal and external customers, applicants and candidates, the Talent Strategies Team consultants and advises on best practices for bringing talent into the organization, supporting candidates through the hiring process and delivering an optimal candidate experience.

Role Purpose

Maintains optimal staffing by identifying and acquiring talented employees, both internally and externally. Responsible for ensuring quality candidates are hired within specified recruiting goals by partnering with hiring managers to understand, develop, and implement specific recruiting strategies and processes related to scope of work.


Responsibilities
  • Manages the entire life cycle recruiting process from prospecting to closing of qualified candidates.
  • Identifies and maintains qualified applicant pools to include diverse, internal, and external populations utilizing various sourcing techniques and modalities.
  • Analyzes hiring data and trends (role-based competencies, recruitment locations, compensation, market intelligence, and other key workforce data) and assists hiring leaders in identifying the skills and competencies needed for a successful hire.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the business; collaborates with leaders and others across the organization on staffing plans and management of external hiring and internal mobility activities.
  • Participates on talent acquisition teams, programs, and projects in support of business objectives. Ensures compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, and relevant organizational policies.
