Job Title: Talent Development Coordinator

Location: Orlando, FL 32801

Position Type: 1 year contract on W2

Employment Eligibility: W2 only position - no sponsorship or C2C

Position Description

Assist providing support related to the processes and programs specific to the designated Human Resources (HR) area of assignment. Provide administrative support to designated Human Resources area of assignment. This position will work in a team-oriented environment and will provide support to the department through a strong work ethic, sense of commitment and a strong desire to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide diverse administrative support to Talent Development

  • Coordinate Talent Development related activities and events

  • Assist Talent Development in carrying out various programs and procedures

  • Ensure documentation received and distributed is in compliance with HR policies and ensure records meet record keeping guidelines

  • Collaborate with department heads and HR as needed to assist in identifying training needs and developing training plans

  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, booking venues, and arranging necessary materials and equipment

  • Communicate training schedules and details to participants and ensure their timely attendance

  • Facilitate presentation of training sessions as needed, including conducting orientations and workshops

  • Recommend process improvements for processes in Talent Development

  • Maintain training records and databases to track employee participation and progress

  • Assist in the development of training materials, presentations, and resources

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development

  • Provide administrative support to the training department as needed

  • Take meeting notes and minutes

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills Required

  • Working knowledge of all, but not limited to, the following:

    • General office administration and management principles and practices

  • Familiarity with all, but not limited to, the following:

    • Talent Development functions and responsibilities

    • Talent Development related programs (i.e., Learning Management System (LMS), Performance Management)

    • Public Records requirements

    • Related industry, organizational and departmental policies, practices and procedures; legal guideline, ordinances and laws

  • Ability to:

    • Exhibit strong organizational skills

    • Be flexible in a changing environment, adjust to multiple and changing priorities

    • Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written

    • Accurately take meeting notes and minutes

    • Make arithmetic computations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals, and compute rates, ratios, and percentages

    • Use Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.) and standard office equipment (telephone, computer, copier, etc.)

Experience Required

1-3 years in Talent development role

Education Required

  • Bachelor//'s degree in business administration, or related field from a publicly accredited college or university. In lieu of a degree, equivalent combination of education, and experience may be substitutable.
