Talent Development Internship – Summer 2026
Location: Salt Lake City, UT – Base Camp Headquarters
Pay: $15.00/hour for Bachelor's Program, $21.00/hour for Master's Program
Hours: ~30–40 hours/week
Dates: June to August 2026
Summary Overview of Internship

Talent Development Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience while supporting initiatives that improve how new team members join and grow within the company.
You’ll work closely with the Talent Development team on initiatives designed to enhance Maverik’s onboarding experience. This internship combines project ownership with exposure to learning strategy, employee development programs, and organizational training initiatives.
Key Project You’ll Support:New Team Member Onboarding Experience Refresh-
Contribute to the redesign and improvement of Maverik’s onboarding program
Develop onboarding resources such as surveys, manager support tools, and new hire materials
Help build learning content that improves the new team member onboarding experience
Assist in designing resources that support both employees and managers during the onboarding process
The intern will summarize findings, recommendations, and outcomes at the conclusion of the internship.
Additional Hands-On Exposure:-
Learn how onboarding programs are designed and implemented across the organization
Observe how employee development programs are created and evaluated
Collaborate with Talent Development and Learning Strategy teams
Gain exposure to organizational training and employee experience initiatives

Qualifications:
Preference will be given to applicants who reside in Utah, as this is an on-site opportunity based at our headquarters
A full-time college student who has completed their sophomore year by the start of the internship
Currently enrolled at an accredited university
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
Interest in Talent Development, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Learning Strategy
Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
