The Talent Development Partner will collaborate with leaders to understand business talent priorities and skill needs ensuring alignment with Fort Wayne Metals strategic initiatives to drive employee performance growth and success.


Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in training, organizational development, human resources, or another related field, required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Research, recommend and execute programs that engage, align, inform, and support employees to advance organizational strategy and growth.
  • Support Individual Development Plans [IDPs] for employees using consultative approach with employees and managers.
  • Conduct needs analysis for development and training needs to support leaders and employees.
  • Deliver assessments approved by management for development as needed for teams.
  • Vet and build cadre of internal trainers /external trainers to align with organizational strategy and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leaders and teams on programs/actions that drive organization initiatives and organization-wide accountability, relationship building and impact employee performance.
  • Provide training, within area(s) of expertise, as needed for employees to propel organizational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with designated TD team members and LDA Advisory Committee on planning and delivery of Leadership Development. Academy (LDA).
  • Analyze learning effectiveness through appropriate metrics and follow-up to ensure transfer of training skills to the job.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as requested by management.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Fast paced office environment within manufacturing setting.
  • Cross-plant visits as needed.
  • Must be able to access all areas of operation, including second floors.
  • Significant amount of time spent at desk working on the computer and telephone.
