Davis+Gilbert LLP, a strategically focused, full-service law firm of about 140 attorneys would like to hire a full-time Talent Team Assistant.

The Talent Team Assistant will work with the Talent Team in all efforts relating to attorney recruitment, retention, training, development, firm committees, and culture.

An ideal candidate for this entry-level position will be highly motivated with excellent attention to detail and have a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Salary range is $55,000-60,000 per year.

The Talent Team is seeking a candidate who has the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, written, organizational and communication skills with the ability to work quickly and accurately. They will be a self-starter who takes initiative and is able to work independently and as part of a team. Finally, the candidate will display confidence and a desire to build relationships with attorneys and staff.

Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) are required. Experience in a CLE and/or resume tracking system is a plus.

The Talent Team Assistant will coordinate all attorney development initiatives and related programs, which include (but are not limited to):

1.) Recruiting

  • Resume review
  • Interview coordination and scheduling
  • Attorney onboarding and integration

2.) Professional Development + Continuing Legal Education

  • Track and report on attorney CLE requirements
  • Facilitate firm-wide and departmental CLE programs
  • Coordinate career development training

3.) Events

  • Plan attorney satisfaction (and any other) events as needed
  • Monitor participation and execution of volunteering, wellness, and cultural firm events
  • Manage monthly firmwide lunches and/or lunch and learn programs

4.) Culture/Morale

  • Generate ideas for community events and initiatives
  • Execute attorney retention initiatives
  • Work with firm committees to develop Wellness, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Inclusion trainings and initiatives

5.) Firm Committees

  • Participate in and assist in managing firm committees
  • Coordinate meetings, events, donations, and drives
  • Manage communication with external event providers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
