The family is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Male Nanny/ABA Therapist to provide personalized care and support for their child with developmental disabilities, including Tourette Syndrome and Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). In this role, you will work closely with the family to provide nurturing care, implement ABA therapy techniques, and create a supportive environment for their child to thrive.
*Responsibilities:*
- Provide one-on-one care and supervision for their child in their home environment.
- Implement ABA therapy techniques and strategies to support skill development and behavior management.
- Engage their child in meaningful activities and social interactions tailored to their interests and needs.
- Collaborate with parents to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Communicate regularly with the family to provide updates on progress and discuss any concerns or changes in their child's needs.
*Qualifications:*
- Previous experience working with children with developmental disabilities, preferably in a nanny or caregiving role.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy principles and techniques
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine passion for working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
