Overview

The Tamayyaz program is a Nationalization Development Program that enables Saudi talents to acquire the needed skills and knowledge for various hospitality professions within a specific time frame through a combination of classroom learning and on the job training.

The Mövenpick Hotel and Residence Hajar Tower Makkah is a 41 storey property located near the holy Kaabāh, offering premium accommodation and Swiss service standards managed by Accor.

Job Description
  • Implements all sales plans related to the role as outlined in the Marketing plan.
  • Establishes and maintains files on major active accounts within the marketing area as part of the central filing system.
  • Promotes and generates sales leads for Mövenpick Hotel Hajar Tower Makkah.
  • Plans sales trips, with approval from the Director of Sales and Marketing, to major marketing areas and calls on accounts within their specific area. Reports to Sales Manager on potential markets needing coverage.
  • Provides feedback to the Sales Manager on changing marketing conditions and competition trends based on direct sales solicitation, phone, and direct mail within the market area. Arranges and accompanies clients on site inspection trips to the hotel by major clients.
  • Disseminates sales-related information to other departments as appropriate through direct solicitation and contacts.
  • Maintains a high level of exposure in the hotel in major market areas through direct sales solicitation and telephone contacts.
  • Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
  • Solicits sales from existing qualified accounts and conducts telephone solicitation, presentations to groups of decision makers, and follow up/service of accounts.
Qualifications
  • Tamayyaz Program is for Saudi Nationals Only.
  • Open to candidates with little to no work experience, including fresh graduates and those with up to 6 months of relevant work experience.
  • Basic English skills are a must.
  • Strong passion for the hospitality field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team player who contributes to and proactively assists co workers.
  • Ability to work a flexible roster depending on departmental needs.
  • Ability to focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous.
