Tank Supervisor - (EPC2)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all tank construction activities, including earthworks, foundations, concrete works, steel structures, and other related activities.
• Oversee the work of the EPC contractor, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure that construction activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Ensure that all tank works are performed in accordance with approved designs, drawings, and project specifications.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that construction activities meet the required standards and specifications.
• Ensure adherence to HSE policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
• Maintain detailed records of construction activities, including progress updates, delays, and corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project management, highlighting milestones, risks, and mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and project managers, to ensure effective coordination of construction activities.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in tank manufacturing and construction supervision, with a focus on petrochemical or similar projects. Proven experience in a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) environment is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of tank construction processes, materials, and international standards.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for team and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic project environment.
