Job Title: TAP Lawn-care Crew Member / Crew Leader

Position Overview:

The TAP Lawn-care Crew Member / Crew Leader plays a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the appearance of residential and community properties throughout Thornton Township. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform landscaping tasks safely and efficiently. Team members are responsible for completing lawn maintenance services, operating landscaping equipment, and supporting overall program operations. The Township provides training and equipment to support skill development in lawn care techniques, safety practices, teamwork, time management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform landscaping tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, raking, leaf removal, and debris cleanup.

Compensation:

Crew Member: $15.00 per hour Crew Leader: $17.00 per hour

Qualifications & Skills:

Must be between the ages of 16 and 24.
