Job Summary:

B&A is looking for an Task Order Project Manager to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. The Task Order Project Manager serves as the primary project management lead for one or more large, complex task orders, including task orders affecting the same system. This role works closely with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), task order–level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel, and customer agency representatives. Under the direction of Government management, the Task Order Project Manager is responsible for overall task order execution, ensuring that technical solutions, schedules, and deliverables are implemented effectively and on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Project Manager for large, complex task orders or a group of related task orders impacting the same system.
  • Act as the primary point of coordination between the Government Contracting Officer (KO), Task Order Managers, Government leadership, and customer agency stakeholders.
  • Provide overall management and oversight of assigned task orders in accordance with Government guidance and contractual requirements.
  • Ensure technical solutions, project schedules, and performance milestones are executed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor project performance, risks, and dependencies; implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Lead project planning, execution, and reporting activities to ensure alignment with Government objectives.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status, issues, and deliverables.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in an information technology–related field, with ten (10) years of relevant professional experience.

Required Skills:

  • Project Management certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or another nationally recognized equivalent certification.
  • Ten (10) years of project management or other relevant experience with progressively increasing responsibility in the public and/or private sector, specifically within IT and/or consulting environments.
  • Ten (10) years of leadership experience with progressively increasing responsibility in the public and/or private sector, within IT and/or consulting fields.

Security Clearance

  • Holds an active TS clearance
