Tasting Room Server

Love Wine? Our tasting room is seeking an energetic server. Position responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the tasting room and restaurant by providing excellent customer service, taking, and delivering customer orders, and assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests as they enter the the tasting room, make them feel comfortable and welcome.

- Provide menus and suggest selections.

- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly.

- Ensure timely delivery of orders and attend to customer needs throughout their dining experience.

- Handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally, escalating them to management if necessary.

- Clear and clean tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests.

- Refill water glasses and remove used dishes and utensils from tables to maintain a clean and organized dining environment.

- Assist in the setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, and other dining elements before and after service hours.

- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food items.

- Communicate effectively with coworkers and management to coordinate table assignments, special requests, and guest preferences.

- Collaborate with other servers/bussers to provide efficient service during peak hours.

- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of utensils and cleaning solutions.

- Ensure the cleanliness of the dining area, including floors, tables, chairs, and restrooms.

- Handle and store dishes, glassware, and utensils properly to prevent breakage and contamination.

- Have a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special promotions.

- Recommend additional items and upsell beverages or desserts to enhance the customer experience and increase revenue.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $7.25 - $23.00 per hour
