Tax Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Prepare periodic tax compliance submissions and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure proper documentation and reporting of tax-related items. VAT, WHT, salary tax, monthly submissions to the tax authority and yearly tax return submission.
  • Implement plans for remediation of any tax-related issues.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and evaluate their impact on the company.
  • Prepare tax audit files and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Work closely with finance, legal, and other departments to support business initiatives.
  • Develops knowledge with local tax laws and regulations, alignment with policies and governance, including adequate tax review process and trainings.



Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, and Business Administration.
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar position or accounting firm.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic Languages.
  • Experience in managing tax authorities, external consultants, and multiple stakeholders’ requirements.
  • Ability to work in a complex environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly present financial and tax information.
  • Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, Problem-solving, and Organizational skills.
  • Odoo experience is a plus.
