Roles & Responsibilities:

Prepare periodic tax compliance submissions and ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure proper documentation and reporting of tax-related items. VAT, WHT, salary tax, monthly submissions to the tax authority and yearly tax return submission.

Implement plans for remediation of any tax-related issues.

Monitor changes in tax legislation and evaluate their impact on the company.

Prepare tax audit files and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.

Work closely with finance, legal, and other departments to support business initiatives.

Develops knowledge with local tax laws and regulations, alignment with policies and governance, including adequate tax review process and trainings.
Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, and Business Administration.

1+ years of experience in a similar position or accounting firm.

Fluency in English and Arabic Languages.

Experience in managing tax authorities, external consultants, and multiple stakeholders’ requirements.

Ability to work in a complex environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly present financial and tax information.

Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.

Excellent analytical, Problem-solving, and Organizational skills.

Odoo experience is a plus.
