We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Excise Tax Associate to join our team.

Job Description:

Prepare and file Excise Tax returns accurately and in a timely manner.

Monitor changes in UAE Excise Tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance.

Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant data for Excise Tax calculations, declarations, and reporting.

Maintain accurate and organized Excise Tax records and documentation.

Assist in analyzing Excise Tax implications of business decisions and provide recommendations.

Respond to inquiries from Federal Tax Authority (FTA) and provide necessary documentation.

Support Excise Tax audits, inspections, and reviews, as needed.

Contribute to the development and improvement of Excise Tax processes and procedures.

Professional Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent accounting and tax computation skills.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Qualification and Experience:

Qualifications Required: Graduate / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related field.

A professional (tax or accounting) Certification (i.e., CA, ACCA, CPA) is preferred.

Knowledge or experience with UAE Excise Tax regulations is an advantage.

Proficiency in relevant tax software and MS Office Suite.

With or without work experience.
