Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns (Federal and Provincial) promptly.
- Reconcile sales tax transactions with accounting records within prescribed timelines.
- Ensure compliance with Sales Tax Laws, staying updated on any changes.
- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Execute quarterly advance tax working, contributing to efficient tax planning.
- Prepare and e-file Withholding Tax Statements, reconciling tax records with accounting records.
- Ensure timely deposit of Withholding Taxes, avoiding penalties.
- Collaborate with various departments for both indirect and direct taxation matters.
- Manage correspondence with third parties and tax consultants effectively.
- Respond promptly to notices, audits, or orders issued by Federal or Provincial authorities.
- Maintain meticulous tax records as per the requirements of Sales Tax and Income Tax Laws.
- Compile and extract data for notices/orders, review, and provide necessary information to tax consultants.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in relevant tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
Note: Immediate Joiner will be preferred.
