Tax Executive

Job Summary

Imperial Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Executive to manage the company’s tax compliance and reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will ensure timely filing of tax returns, maintain accurate tax records, and coordinate with regulatory authorities in accordance with applicable tax laws in Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file Sales Tax returns (Federal & Provincial) on a monthly basis
  • Prepare and file Income Tax returns and withholding tax statements
  • Ensure timely submission of advance tax payments
  • Maintain and reconcile tax records with accounting data and ERP systems (preferably Odoo)
  • Handle tax notices, audits, and correspondence with FBR and other authorities
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and ensure compliance
  • Coordinate with internal departments for tax-related data and documentation
  • Assist in tax planning and risk management initiatives
  • Support finance team during month-end and year-end closing

RequirementsEducation

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
  • ACCA / CA (Inter) / CMA (Preferred)

Experience

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in taxation

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of FBR IRIS system, Sales Tax & Income Tax laws
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
