Tax Legislative Assistant

Senator Mark R. Warner is seeking a Tax Legislative Assistant to handle tax, trade, pensions, Social Security, and unemployment insurance policy related to the Senator’s work on the Senate Finance Committee. Candidates must have prior experience and working knowledge of the tax code and related policy issues. Strong research, analytical, and communication skills are required, along with the ability to conceptualize, develop, and advance new policy ideas.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team player with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines. This is not an entry-level position, and prior experience in a policy-related role is required.
