Major accountabilities:
- Prepare, review, and submit CIT, VAT, Payroll Tax, Stamp Duty, WHT, and TP returns on time.
- Reconcile internal sales invoices with the e-invoicing portal monthly and re-upload missing ones.
- Finalize open tax inspections across all tax types.
- Maintain and update material coding on ETA and GS1 portals.
- Monitor all tax portals daily to ensure timely action on notifications or deadlines.
- Use and monitor E-TAX, e-invoice portal, SAP, and reporting tools effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors.
- Manage multiple deadlines and inspections efficiently.
- Evaluate and review all contracts to assess any tax risk.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across internal departments and external (e.g., Tax Authority, EDA, Customs Authority, external advisors, customers, and vendors).
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and advise on tax-efficient structures and transactions in line with local regulations.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end tax provisioning in accordance with IFRS, Support external financial audits with tax-related disclosures
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years in relevant financial experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role preferably in Tax operations within pharmaceuticals or multinational companies.
- Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and tax systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
