Tax Preparer

Overview
We are seeking experienced tax preparers and individuals that are interested in joining the industry.

We need individuals that are detail-oriented and knowledgeable to join our team. This is a contract 1099 position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, tax preparation, financial services or a similar role. He/she will have the ability to analyze financial data and provide exceptional customer service. This role requires proficiency in various software and a solid understanding of tax regulations and financial concepts. We do offer training and refresher courses. Training starts soon.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Review financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
• Provide clients with guidance on tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Assist clients in understanding their financial situations and tax obligations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax regulations and changes in legislation.
• Utilize software such as Drake, Tax Dome, and other company software for efficient processing.
• Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify potential deductions and credits.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Be able to get clients. We will provide you with digital marketing materials, you can also have them printed. We will also send clients your way and help you get listed in your area if desired.

Skills

• Strong understanding of the tax industry.
• Solid foundation in financial concepts, math skills, and technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience in tax preparation is a plus but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Strong analytical skills for effective problem-solving and decision-making.
• Familiarity with 10 key typing for efficient data entry.

Base Pay: From $3,000.00 per month
