Duties

• Prepare, review, and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with precision and attention to detail.
• Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and supporting documentation to ensure accurate tax reporting.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or other financial tools to organize data efficiently.
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies to optimize their financial outcomes while ensuring compliance with current laws.
• Support the team in conducting audits and resolving complex tax issues through detailed research and analysis.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax legislation and accounting standards to provide informed advice.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally, fostering strong relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting with a focus on tax preparation or compliance.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts, technical accounting principles, and bookkeeping practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar financial management tools.
• Demonstrated analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
• Excellent math skills and proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and explaining technical information clearly.
• Prior experience with sales or marketing related to financial services is a plus but not required.
