Job Title: Driver (With Own Visa}
Job Summary:
As a driver, your primary responsibility is to safely transport Doctors and Nurses from one location to another. You'll be entrusted with operating a variety of vehicles, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations, and ensuring timely arrivals. Your role may involve local, regional, or long-distance travel, depending on the employer's needs.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain assigned vehicle(s) in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Transport goods, materials, or passengers to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while driving.
- Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules and minimize fuel consumption.
- Load and unload cargo or assist passengers as required, ensuring proper handling of items.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle interior and exterior.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients, passengers, or other road users.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, or other team members to coordinate schedules and address any issues that arise.
- Adhere to company policies regarding vehicle use, safety protocols, and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a driver preferred, but not always required.
- Knowledge of local roads, highways, and traffic patterns.
- Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, if necessary.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and other relevant technology.
- Physical stamina and endurance for long periods of driving.
Education and Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a defensive driving course or other relevant training programs may be beneficial.
Working Conditions:
- Drivers may spend extended periods behind the wheel and may be exposed to various weather conditions.
- Some roles may require overnight travel or long-distance trips.
- Physical demands may include lifting and carrying heavy items.
