The Testing & Commissioning Engineer (Electrical) is responsible for executing, supervising, and documenting the testing and commissioning of all electrical systems to ensure they comply with design, project specifications, and safety standards. The role involves close coordination with construction, QA/QC, and client representatives to achieve successful project handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out testing and commissioning of all electrical systems — LV panels, MDBs, SMDBs, DBs, lighting, small power, emergency systems, and earthing.
  • Review electrical design drawings, specifications, and method statements related to T&C works.
  • Prepare and implement commissioning procedures, schedules, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors during inspections and witness testing.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and project specifications during all stages of testing.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues during testing and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Maintain accurate test reports, checklists, and handover documentation.
  • Support the preparation of operation & maintenance (O&M) manuals and client training sessions.
  • Ensure safety compliance and proper use of test equipment during all T&C activities.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
