Job Description:

The Export Sales Manager is responsible for developing and expanding international sales of tea products, identifying new customers in overseas markets, and achieving export sales targets. The role focuses on promoting the company’s tea range globally, building strong client relationships, and increasing brand presence through active market engagement and participation in international trade fairs and exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify and develop new export markets and customers for tea products.
  • Conduct market research to understand global tea demand, pricing trends, and competitor activities.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve export growth.
  • Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer meetings to promote tea brands and products.

2. Sales & Customer Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with overseas tea buyers, importers, and distributors.
  • Handle inquiries, share product details, and prepare quotations and proforma invoices.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with international clients.
  • Follow up with customers regularly to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

3. Sales Targets & Reporting

  • Achieve assigned export sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Prepare regular sales performance reports and share market feedback with management.
  • Identify new product opportunities or packaging ideas based on market trends and customer feedback.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of tea products, grades, and global tea markets.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong business relationships and manage key accounts.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to travel internationally.
  • Good understanding of market trends and customer preferences.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in export sales of tea or related agricultural/food products.
  • Proven experience dealing with overseas buyers and distributors.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
