STARBASE is a STEM learning academy sponsored by the Department of Defense, dedicated to the enrichment of 5th graders to help them understand the joys of STEM and how it applies to their everyday lives and encourage them to embrace Science, Technology, Engineering or Math in future endeavors. www.dodstarbase.org

What are the requirements to teach at STARBASE?

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3 plus years of experience in elementary education preferred
• Resume showing recent background in physics, chemistry, aerospace science, engineering, robotics or mathematics preferred but all STEM related disciplines will be considered.
• Finger print-based national criminal history investigation required with youth programs.
  
  

Note: Recent graduates with STEM related degrees with experience in youth education programs such as tutoring, sports programs, Internships, etc.
