Role: Instruction Specialist
The Instruction Specialist is responsible for facilitating computer science learning labs in partner schools and creating a strong, effective learning ecosystem. The role requires excellent teaching skills, creativity, analytical thinking, and a commitment to improving student learning outcomes. The candidate should be able to take initiative, solve problems, and contribute to the program’s vision of meaningful and sustainable impact.
Roles & Responsibilities1. Program Delivery
- Deliver the program curriculum effectively across designated grades and assigned schools.
- Create monthly grade-specific goals and detailed daily lesson plans with support from the Program Manager.
- Submit class reports and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Track student attendance and monitor learning outcomes using assessments, projects, quizzes, etc.
- Share student progress reports as required.
- Coordinate with school authorities to ensure adequate instructional time and proper maintenance of the lab.
2. Training and Capacity Building
- Participate in ongoing professional development including workshops, seminars, conferences, and training sessions.
- Attend beginning-of-year training programs and monthly learning circles to collaborate, share best practices, and prepare for upcoming sessions.
- Work closely with the Program Manager to improve classroom delivery based on feedback.
3. Events
- Coordinate with school authorities to conduct an annual student showcase.
- Mentor selected students for annual program events.
- Conduct hackathons, quizzes, and field visits to enhance student engagement.
- Support the central team in operational, programmatic, and event-related tasks.
4. Additional Responsibilities
- Support out-of-classroom initiatives, workshops, and research & development activities related to curriculum and program testing.
- Assist with impact analysis, recruitment processes, performance reviews, and organization-wide decision-making when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized university, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and creative mindset to problem-solve and develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, and openness to giving and receiving feedback.
- Interest in and awareness of computer science education.
- Willingness to travel extensively across districts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in STEM or Education, or relevant experience in computer science or STEM fields.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience in formal or informal settings.
- Understanding of educational evaluation methods and experience improving program delivery through data and insights.
- Ability to speak the local language.

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
