We are seeking a passionate and dedicated lead and assistant teachers to inspire and nurture young minds in a dynamic educational environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that align with educational standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
- Create an engaging classroom environment that promotes active learning, curiosity, and social-emotional growth.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor student progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support children’s developmental milestones, including early intervention strategies when needed.
- Incorporate literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori methods to foster well-rounded development.
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, and classroom activities to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
Skills
- Proven experience in classroom management and lesson planning within early childhood or preschool settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare.
- Expertise in curriculum development across subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and special education needs.
- Experience working with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, with a focus on early intervention when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies for children with diverse learning styles or special educational requirements.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring techniques to support individual student achievement.
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques rooted in Montessori philosophy or similar child-centered approaches.
- Commitment to child welfare, safety protocols, and promoting a nurturing environment conducive to learning. Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
