Duties

  • Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies.
  • Engage with children to support their social-emotional development and ensure their safety and welfare during daycare or preschool activities.
  • Utilize assessment tools including standardized testing to monitor student progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
  • Collaborate with coworkers, parents, and specialists to support children with special education needs and early intervention programs.
  • Incorporate innovative teaching techniques such as other child-centered approaches to enhance learning experiences.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress, lesson plans, and classroom activities to ensure compliance with educational standards.

Experience

  • Proven classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies.
  • Experience working with students requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures, tutoring techniques, and teaching physical education is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in private schools or Montessori environments will be considered a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.15 - $18.00 per hour
