Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to diverse learning styles and developmental stages, including early intervention strategies and literacy education techniques.
- Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and active participation among students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to promote a safe and respectful learning space.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instructional adjustments.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support children with special education needs or additional learning requirements.
- Plan and execute lessons that incorporate Montessori principles, physical education activities, and age-appropriate childcare practices.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and behavioral observations while ensuring compliance with child welfare standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field; Montessori certification is a plus.
- Proven classroom experience working with children across preschool or daycare settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, literacy education, math instruction, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience with special education strategies, early intervention programs, and working with students who have diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring methods for young learners.
- Ability to create lesson plans that incorporate physical education, child welfare practices, and age-appropriate activities for toddlers and preschoolers.
