Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive curricula tailored to early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
  • Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods and other innovative teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to promote a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Support children’s development through early intervention strategies, special education accommodations, and individualized learning plans.
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and inform instructional adjustments.
  • Foster open communication with parents and guardians regarding child welfare, progress, and classroom activities.
  • Maintain organized classroom environments that encourage exploration, independence, and social interaction among students.

Experience

  • Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across subjects including literacy education, math, physical education, and childcare.
  • Experience working with students requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management best practices.
  • Prior experience with Montessori or other specialized educational approaches is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,000.00 per month
