Requirements

• High school diploma required; higher educational credentials (CDA, associates or bachelors degree) is preferred and required for some classrooms
• Childcare or teaching experience is helpful but not required to start
• State required background check (fingerprints) and negative TB test result before starting
• Dependable, reliable and professional
• Positive energy with a love for working with children and families

Basic Responsibilities

• Plan and implement an age appropriate program that supports play, exploration and learning
• Provide on-going communication with families and colleagues
• Maintain a clean and aesthetic environment
• Attend in-service education classes, training sessions and workshops
• Serve as a role model for children by providing a professional appearance and appropriate mannerisms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
