Teacher: Certified/Small Group Interaction/6-12

Duties:

· Design and execute captivating and interactive lessons that foster student engagement.

· Instruct lessons to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting.

· Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the learning environment, encouraging diversity and mutual respect.

· Regularly assess student progress and offer constructive feedback on their academic performance.

· Collaborate effectively with fellow teachers and staff to develop comprehensive curricula and instructional materials.

· Make use of library resources and services to enrich student learning opportunities.

· Provide valuable academic guidance and support to students, assisting them in achieving their educational goals.

· Implement effective behavior management strategies to cultivate a harmonious and positive classroom ambiance.

· Tailor instruction to cater to individual student needs, ensuring personalized learning experiences.

· Facilitate Discussion-Based Assessments for online students through platforms like Microsoft Teams, promoting meaningful dialogue and learning interaction.

Teacher Requirements:

• Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher.

• A valid FL Teaching Certificate/Statement of Eligibility is preferred.

• Previous experience in classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring is highly valued.

• Candidates should demonstrate a willingness and ability to teach various subjects across different grade levels.

• Familiarity with MS Office and Zoom/Teams is a plus.

• Ability to pass a level 2 background screening.

• Above all, a genuine passion for helping students succeed is essential!

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
