Maize South Middle School is seeking an ESOL teacher for the 2026-27

school year.

Maize has a lotto offer teachers new to the district and those new to

the profession. Allnew teachers are matched with a qualified mentor and

both the mentor and mentee are supported by our team of Student Support

Specialists and Instructional Coaches. New teachers also participate in

8 half day professional development opportunities throughout the school

year.

Our teachers are encouraged to continue to learn and grow. Professional

learning days are well planned and cover relevant and timely topics. We

also offer a professional learning series that qualifies for college

credits and tuition reimbursement for a Masters degree.

Safe and well-maintained facilities are another great feature found in

the Maize district. Through partnership with the Maize Police

Department, we have Resource Officers at many of our schools and have

invested in enhanced security features.
