Teacher for Toddlers

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting the developmental needs of Toddler-aged children.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, and physical education.
• Create lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning styles of students.
• Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies.
• Provide individualized support for children with special needs and implement early intervention strategies as necessary.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that promotes child welfare.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience for all students.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
• Familiarity with childhood development principles and practices is required.
• Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management is highly desirable.
• Background in special education or early intervention techniques is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
